To qualify for this job, you must have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) as well as a minimum 3 years of experience in an OHS role.

  • Pay rate: Competitive, based on experience
  • Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
  • Job type: Temporary contract with possibility of extension
  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Perform regulatory and hazard/risk assessments on site to mitigate health and safety injuries or exposures.
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety (“OHS”) legislation and regulation.
  • To qualify, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline, or a combination of education and management experience that would be considered equivalent.
  • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in an OHS role
  • Canadian Health & Safety Consultants designation or Occupational Health Nurses Certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel within province and potentially within Canada in support of active emergencies.
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of OHS legislation, best practices and trends.
  • Computer and numerical literacy, comfort working with data bases and MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to complete a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (EPIC).
  • Must be able to pass required confidential Health Screening and COVID testing.
  • Current First Aid Certification or willingness to take training.
