Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, Office Assistant to work directly for our client majoring in Pharmaceuticals and pharmacy supplies merchant wholesalers located in Vaughan/Concord, ON.
This position entails the responsibility of running an Office Administration and accomplishing all shipment of orders reach their final destination.
Must be able physically fit in packing and shipping of orders to various clients. Receiving and handling inbound/outbound call inquiries, processing transactions and answer to a wide range of inquiries. Responsible for fax, email and phone order processing and resolution of issues that may prevent orders from shipping.

You will handle customer requests in a timely accurate and professional manner, fostering the growth of a strong customer base through positive interactions and building strong relationships with customers, sales reps and internal contacts at head office is essential. Most important is the understanding of the diverse responsibilities this position requires, and that the Office Assistant will have many different tasks to make each day a successful one. This position could grow into further administration or field support for the right candidate.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing day to day office operation
  • Shipping daily orders and receiving product from Head Office
  • Lifting boxes, using a pallet truck from time to time
  • Process orders, returns, credit/rebills invoices etc.
  • Provide pricing, updates on orders, tracking information, confirmation
  • Handle customer complaints in accordance with Complaint Procedure
  • Communicate/follow up with customers, sales force, etc. via email, fax and phone
  • Interface daily with co-workers within department and other departments, including senior management
  • Make outbound calls as needed
  • Assist with Sales support activities
  • Warehouse inventory management
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager
  • Assisting Cryopreserved Donor Tissue Program
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Must be able to lift 25 kgs
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a professional customer service role
  • Proactive and multi-tasking mindset is a must
  • Ability to manage difficult customer situations
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness- Detailed Orientated
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, specifically Excel
  • Knowledge of Fedex Ship Manager program preferred
  • Internet and order processing systems
  • Must have strong excel skills
  • Ability to physically pack and ship orders and open to multitasking
