Adecco is currently recruiting for an Officer, Accessibility Policy for a 12 Month contract with our Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.
The Officer, Accessibility Policy will have the following responsibilities:
-    Develop policies, strategies, and programs to enable the corporation to become more accessible and inclusive while enhancing its reputation as a leading responsible, community minded business in Canada;
-    Create and implement individual action plans to advance strategic priorities in the following areas:
o    Built Environment - Implement and support execution of action plans-finalizing audit tool, 
o    Creating design standard Procurement;
o    Coordinate action with procurement lead to focus on developing accessible RPF processes, procedures;
-    Working in a small team, doing what is asked to improve policy and programs in the company.
The Officer, Accessibility Policy must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-    3+ Years as an Officer or equivalent in Accessibility policy;
-    Experience in developing policies, strategies, and programs;
-    Ability to maintain confidentiality and tact in dealing with sensitive information;
-    Previous experience in property management, procurement, building code or similar is preferred; 
-    Confident in stakeholder relations and management; 
-    Strong organizational and project management skills;
-    Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs;
-    Strong attention to detail;
-    Able to work independently and as a team member.
