Adecco is currently hiring a skilled and experienced Ops Excellence Projects Associate to work full-time for our client located in Toronto, ON. Our client provides indirect vehicle financing and leasing solutions to consumers and commercial customers. They are located across the world, with offices including South Korea, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, and Brazil. The position will assist in leading the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of prioritized operational excellence projects. Projects may include, but are not limited to: chatbot, speech analytics, RPA, IVR, customer portal, and/or automation projects. This role will guide the project team’s operations and resources toward achieving the agreed goals within the set scope, time, quality, and budget standards.
This role will identify areas of improvement to facilitate the ongoing transformation and continuous improvement of the operations department. Problem-solving and analytical skills are also required to deliver output that will result in increased process efficiency, productivity, waste elimination and monetary savings or gains.
The role will be part of a culture of simplified and best-in-class processes, eliminating non-value-added work and creating repeatable and measurable processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete walkthroughs to identify process pain points and problems, document and analyze current processes and identify improvement opportunities. Formulate recommendations, develop solutions and executing on recommendations. Work with departments/teams to solve problems, encouraging a diversity of opinions while lending expertise to the process and work with business areas to implement changes/solutions. Adapt to changing environments by constantly reevaluating department processes, technology, structure, policies and procedures to ensure that best practices are in place.
- Assist in leading, planning and executing Operational Excellence projects. Develop UAT test cases to help with UAT business testing. Assess roadblocks and issues and determine the proper course of action. Build job aids and materials to help with change management. Track project progress and ensure the project is completed timely.
- Coordinate with internal resources (eg. IT, Sales, Risk, Operations) and vendors to execute the project plan. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, senior executives and different department managers. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience working on cross-functional projects across a range of functional areas and business objectives (e.g. new product launch, internal improvements, regulatory, etc.)
Prefer 2 years related auto finance / captive finance industry experience
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project Management Certifications, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Management experience a plus
Knowledge in Operational Excellence (and/or Business Excellence) principles across a wide range of functional areas
Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques preferred
Ability to effectively engage with and present to all levels of management
Ability to facilitate collaboration with diverse groups
Team-oriented, but able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Understanding of project management and execution
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational/planning skills
Strong PC skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Bilingual in English and French considered an asset
