Adecco is currently recruiting to a full time permanent Operations Manager job in Surrey, BC.  The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch and providing financial and operational support to the Manager of Gulf Branches.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:
? Manage operations in order to meet net profit performance against annual budget.
? Responsible for all operations personnel activities of branch including hiring, training, retention and completion of semiannual performance evaluations.
? Perform administrative functions of branch
? Identifying customer needs, providing solutions and recommending better products.
? Maintain relationship with key customer accounts through regular visits
? Analyzing price and delivery dates, locating products, creating purchase orders, and providing a high level of service to all customers
? Growing profitable market share by presenting value-added services & add-ons.
? Promote excellent customer service from the entire branch.
? Ensure safe practices and environment in branch and adherence to all policies by staff.
? Assist in budget development with corporate administration.
? Manage inventory and conduct successful physical inventory annually.
? Complete performance evaluations of each staff member twice per year.
? Continually develop accounts portfolio and look for new markets to penetrate.
? Support corporate initiatives and programs.
? Develop Community/industry involvement programs
? Maintain budgeted staffing levels.
? Develop intra-branch and departmental communications/coordination
? Maintain buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles in accordance with company standards.

BS degree or equivalent work experience in management or sales.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Internet software. Actively investigates & recommends new cutting edge technology.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job will supervise a team of up to 15 individuals.
