Then you could be perfect for our Vancouver client, who is currently hiring a full time Operations Manager to oversee all day to day operations for their consumer technology business.

Operations Manager Key Responsibilities: 

•    Work closely with the management team in the day to day planning and operations of the business to ensure all targets are met.
•    Enabling operational excellence by running improvement initiatives to ensure the growing requirements of the company are met.
•    Leading and scheduling management and staff meetings.
•    Delivering high quality service to the customer base, ensuring the expectations of the customer are met to the best of our ability.
•    Assisting in interviewing new staff as well as training and developing the skill sets of current employees.
•    Reviewing the performance of staff and implementing personal development plans to ensure the active growth of all employees.
•    Proactively ensure that quality, safety and production metrics and KPI’s are meeting or exceeding targets.
•    Prepare and maintain supplies, equipment and inventory
•    Provide professional leadership and create a team culture for all staff and ensure that the work force is motivated and has a sense of loyalty to the company and its objectives.

Operations Manager Experience and Skill Requirements:
 
•    3+ years of experience in an operations manager or similar role.
•    Post-secondary education in either business or management (equivalent or related fields will be considered).
•    Strong people management skills with experience in managing a variety of staff members.
•    Proven team building, leadership and conflict resolution skills.
•    Strong English communication skills for professional environment, both written and spoken.
•    Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
