Adecco is currently seeking for an Operations Officer in Toronto, ON. Our client is a well-established organization operating under the Financial Industry. To qualify for this position you must have 5+ previous work experience with financial services in Capital markets and collateral settlements. 

This role is a 5 months contract with a pay rate of $22.39 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process daily settlements of all Collateral Security & Cash movements
  • Understand and maintain the process of transactions from MAG
  • Reconcile data within RCM including investigation and escalation of outstanding position & cash breaks 
  • Follow up on exceptions, identify their causes and escalate for resolution. 
  • Provide a high level of service in assisting process partners to identify, locate and resolve differences
  • Escalate client issues as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal partners for the purposes of delivering optimal customer service 
  • Adhere to operating standards and processes
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years in financial industry
  • Previous collateral settlement experience
  • Previous capital markets experience
  • Nostro/Vostro/ Suspense account reconciliation experience 
  • Eager to learn, grow and take on new challenges
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
