Adecco is hiring for an Operations Officer in Downtown Toronto, Missisauga, and Markham. This position is with one of the 5 major banks. To qualify for this opportunity, you must have post-secondary education and 1-2 years of related experience. The pay rate for this role is $17 to $20 per hour.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic & rapidly growing team with exposure to varying levels of quality and complexity of business financial statements across a wide range of industries, exposure to model-based risk rating application and financial statement input standards to generate a risk rating.


Wealth Operations Officer - Job Responsibilities:

  • Use combination of GAAP, notes to financial statements, and overarching guidelines to correctly identify and input values from financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flow) of privately held companies into the Risk Rating model.
  • Work closely with partners in Wealth and Bank to ensure all accounts are reviewed and opened in a timely manner
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of business and regulatory requirements to the partner and provide available options for resolution
  • Working within a team and with business partners to achieve common goals and objectives, contributing to a positive team environment
  • Contribute to the overall productivity of the team by maximizing individual efficiency, productivity, availability and flexibility


Wealth Operations Officer - Job Qualifications:

  • Read and understand company financial statements (company prepared, notice to reader, review engagement and audited).
  • Education or work experience with a specialization in accounting preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance and control changes in order to manage the Regulatory, Financial and Reputational risks
  • Knowledge of  client on boarding process including the complexity around new account documentation
  • Possess excellent communication skills, oral and written, and able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and maturity with every employee and client interaction
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced keyboarding skills
  • Manage efficiently in a multi task environment
  • An enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive and productive attitude at all times.
  • The candidate should possess strong problem solving and investigation skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, applications and processes
  • The candidate will have to demonstrate an ability to work within tight timelines and pressure.
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods 
  • CSC and IFIC courses would be considered assets
  • Bilingual in French and English would be an asset.
