Adecco is currently hiring for an Operations Officer in Downtown Toronto. To qualify for the Operations Officer role, you must have excellent communication skills, advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, Formulas, Formatting, Manipulation) knowledge and high level of data entry skills.

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who have ability to type at a Speed of 60 WPM minimum, work well with team members and ensuring accountability are met within set timelines. Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the financial services industry. Operations Officer is a 6 months contract position.

Operations Officer Job Description:

• Provide Excellent Customer Service and process all transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide professional and courteous service at all times to both internal and external clients
• Ensure service is maintained as per Service Level Agreements and Internal service delivery standards
• Ensure that we are meeting our CiCEI goals and SLA requirements for phone calls, by picking up all calls that come to each individual’s line
• Adhere to Firm and Industry regulations and policies for all transactions
• Identify opportunities for improvements in service delivery and processes.
• Ensure documents are completed accurately and filed for properly and ensuring privacy of client information.
• Ensure the Industry and Firm regulations and operating practices are met for all transactions completed.
• Complete investigations accurately and in timely manner and identify process gaps
• Participate fully as a member of the team, promote effectiveness and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies, and industry code of conduct.

Operations Officer Qualifications:

  • CDS / DTC system knowledge and CSC A working knowledge of Cash Management
  • Previous programming experience required (VBA or other programming languages, with examples of projects)
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Advanced computer and typing skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to work within deadlines
  • Organized and ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Team-oriented and able to develop excellent working relations with other TDBFG departments
