Adecco is currently searching for Order Pickers and Packers for one of our clients located in Guelph, ON. Order Picker and Packers prepares customer orders accurately for same day and next day shipping, ensuring total customer satisfaction and meeting delivery schedules. Successful candidates can expect full time hours, long term work with a thriving warehouse.

Order Picker and Packer Responsibilities:

Prepares (pick and pack) orders from pick/ship and or invoice list as directed by shift supervisor.
Occasionally helps with receiving, stock keeping and inventory control duties.
Picks customer orders
Ensure order picked matches pick/ship copy and or invoice copy
Follows procedures outlined in shipping work instructions for special customers i.e. Mass market
Packs order for protection while in transit (wrap skids)
Palletises orders for shipping Completes required shipping paperwork
Records the appropriate information in Excel based shipping files
Cleans and organizes packing area
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Order Picker and Packer Qualifications:

Must have previous warehouse experience
Must have own reliable transportation to and from work
Good teamwork skills
Excellent Accuracy and attention to detail
Must have own steel toed safety boots
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand 8 - 10 hours
Must be able to work straight days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 4:00 pm OR straight afternoons 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. and overtime as is required
