Adecco is currently recruiting for an Organization Planning and Design Manager.  The role is full-time permanent. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for one.

The Organization Planning and Design Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Advises business Leaders and managers on planning and designing their organization structures and compensation policies and programs.
  • Manages teams made up of members of several organizational Levels as well as cross-functional teams, to deliver key organizational structure and compensation-related projects including Pay Equity.
  • Provides Senior management with regular reviews of the Corporate organization such as areas of duplication, overlap and inefficiency, opportunities for improvement, and outdated structures.
  • Leads the design, development and implementation, and ensures the continued relevance of job evaluation plans for bargained and non-bargained work.
  • Ensures the fair and equitable evaluation of all jobs through the application of selected job evaluation plans.
  • Provide expertise in job evaluation and compensation-related aspects of Canadian collective agreements, economic forecasts related to the Canadian Labour market & others.
  • Prepare Program and Policy directives for review and approval by Senior Executives, the CEO and the Board of Directors.
  • Initiates, develops and oversees implementation of organization-related services and tools to facilitate decision making and planning.
  • Acts as Corporate authority on the use of titles and on the naming convention for jobs, positions and organization units
  • Manage policies related individual performance incentives, performance incentives and others
  • Establish and maintain professional contacts with organization design and compensation
  • The Organization Planning and Design Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Completed post-secondary, preferably in a related field OR a combination of equivalent professional experience and training.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant functional experience/ 2 or more years' experience managing people.
  • One or more years of experience in a unionized environment an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Designation and or certifications programs may be required for certain positions (e.g. Finance & Engineering).
  • Excellent team building and Leadership skills and experience
  • Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationship.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
