Part-time Senior Payroll Specialist job opening in Toronto, Ontario

Adecco Professional is currently looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist in Midtown Toronto. Our client is in the non-profit sector looking for some additional assistace on a part-time basis (Monday- Wednesday) to complete the bi-weekly employee payroll. The ideal candidate will have a PCP designation and experience using ADP Workforce Now.

The responsibilities for the Part-time Senior Payroll Specialist in Midtown Toronto includes:

Gathering all information for employee payroll
Calculating overtime, deductions, and taxes
Processing taxes, benefits, and pensions
Preparing pay stubs and distributing paychecks
Completing complex payroll for both hourly, salary, union, or non-union employees
Identifying and resolving any payroll issues as needed
Completing daily payroll transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Performing audits to identify any discrepancies

The qualifications of the Part-time Senior Payroll Specialist in Midtown Toronto includes:

PCP designation mandatory
3+ years of full cycle payroll experience
Experience using ADP Workforce Now
Comprehensive understanding of all payroll functions and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
