Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Parts Expeditor contract position in Oakville. This Parts Expeditor opportunity is excellent for candidates who are interested in working for a large manufacturing company and gaining more experience in a manufacturing related field. The Parts Expeditor will be reporting to the Materials Manager – as the Machine Shop Expeditor, the Parts Expeditor will be responsible for expediting parts throughout various departments within the organization. This Parts Expeditor position will be a 6-month contract and the pay rate is $20.00/hr plus 4% vacation pay.

 

Parts Expeditor Responsibilities:

 

•Expedite parts through the shop, identify bottlenecks and explore solutions         

•Provide daily report summarizing activity for the day and any key schedule impacts        

•Support Supervisors and planners on the daily updates and part movement        

•Monitor tags and coordinate with planning  

•Perform other duties as assigned              

 

Parts Expeditor Qualifications:

 

•Completion of grade 12 High School Diploma         

•Previous related experience in a manufacturing environment        

•Good knowledge of various Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word & Excel)

•Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively interact within an organization

•Successful candidates must meet CCGP requirements
