Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Parts Support Specialist in Toronto, ON to work for our client Porsche, a world-class company in the automotive industry. In this role, you will assist Canadian Porsche Dealer network and PCL personnel in satisfying customers’ spare parts requirements in the area of Genuine Parts, Classic Parts, Porsche Lifestyle (PLX), equipment, Consumables, Oil and tires.   • Job type: 1-year contract with possibility of extension | full-time 

Responsibilities:

  • Process Dealer-generated requests via Porsche PRMS tickets & reply within specified timelines for A, B, C & D tickets

  • Initiate required actions via PRMS system and coordinate activities with the Inventory Management Department at Porsche Germany (PAG) to expedite parts needed

  • Provide parts technical assistance to the dealer to support all customer parts needs.  Resolve all parts procurement concerns in a timely manner

  • Provide ETA information to dealers for their orders via PRMS to PAG and using in-house inventory details & knowledge

  • Provide technical assistance, through extensive research, to Dealers and other PCL departments on specifications and parts applications as required

  • Responsible for advising in-house and dealer staff regarding questions on alternate, obsolete & new parts requests

  • Establish a complementary working relationship with assigned Dealers, Porsche Cars Canada Ltd. (PCL) Field technical staff, both technical and non-technical, & internal personnel within Porsche AG

  • Provide & update the dealer network, regularly, detailed information to ensure PCL/PAG procedures are adhered too

  • Assist in the process of order entry and order cancellation requests for dealers and employees as required

  • Provide parts technical support for Dealers and Regional Business Development Managers as required

  • Process orders for "special wish" items on a case by case basis with internal/external customers.

  • Support & resolve dealers’ parts shipping, return, claims, core & package tracking concerns/inquiries/shipments, GRODIS/express and regular warranty returns to Porsche AG.

  • Work within the POLARIS system to ensure items such as inventory, overage & shortage, credits and all other system-related items are addressed timely

  • Assist the PDC with returns to Porsche Germany concerning Warranty (Express & Regular) and GRODIS orders on a timely manner.

  • Monitor Parts delivery and returns to and from Dealer Network and manage service level requirements with the Canadian Supply Chain Vendors.

  • Monitor Automatic Stock Replenishment (ASR) system performance for assigned group of dealers

  • Work with PCL Customer Commitment & PCL Call Center to resolve parts-related customer issues as needed.

  • Responsible for the proper usage of and compliance with Information Technology security policies at PCL and all other relevant directives

  • Deliver pricing analytics consisting of weekly / monthly file uploads, verification and troubleshooting

  • Handle the product management role of one of the 4 categories that will be assigned

  • Fully support the After Sales Business Development Manager in creating and executing sales/marketing programs.

  • Handle the monthly departmental reporting

  • Oversee the processing and payment of Parts Operational invoices from various vendors and other departmental administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate, College, or University degree is preferred; or equivalent work/automotive industry experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the area of parts – Preferred

  • Automotive Dealership part department experience – Preferred

  • PC experience preferred – Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word

  • SAP working knowledge - Preferred.

  • Project Management experience or training is an asset.

  • Customer service-oriented experience

  • Commitment to Operational and Process Excellence Driven to Exceed Expectations

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills – French a valuable asset

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability rationalize analytics and their ability to impact the business.

  • Able to work independently while also engaging and obtaining support of all stakeholders.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
