Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Payroll Administrator for our client, a reputable company that provides innovative engineering solutions. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for payroll duties necessary, processing a large payroll for up to 1,000 employees and other related tasks.   • Shifts: Flexible shift | 40 hours per week
  • Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Processing routine complex and non-complex weekly and biweekly payroll runs for employees across multiple divisions and legal entities
  • Collecting, organizing, and entering pay data into payroll systems
  • Reviewing variances and exception audits to ensure an accurate payroll including reconciling hours from KRONOS, E-time, salaries, and other earnings and adjustments
  • Responding to employee and business partner inquiries, in writing and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Analyzing, processing deduction, and payment of involuntary deductions to appropriate agencies
  • Examining, calculating and processing taxable fringe benefits
  • Performing payroll processes and global reconciliation of wages for inpatriate and expatriate employees
  • Overseeing quarterly and annual standard work such as tax analysis, filing, and remittance
  • Ensuring work activities are consistent and running efficiently, discover inconsistencies, document, and communicate the need for changes
  • Identifying key issues and patterns from partial and conflicting data - taking broad perspective to problems and finds new/less obvious solutions
  • To qualify, you should have:

  • Minimum High School Education
  • Three (3) years of payroll experience
  • Must have high level of experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll
  • Experience processing a large payroll for up to 1,000 employees
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (i.e Excel, Outlook, Teams etc)
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written
  • Strong detail orientation with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with new and changing responsibilities
  • High speed internet access and a confidential workspace free from distractions – WFH
  • Comfortable with mobile technology and willing to download/use a variety of applications
  • Exemplary attendance and ability to work mandatory overtime and holidays as needed to process payroll
  • Nice to have:

  • PCP/CPM certification in Canada or FPC/CPP certification/training would be an asset
  • Experience in Oracle HRMS, KRONOS, Workday and/or other ADP products would be an asset
