Payroll Administrator

Adecco is currently hiring for a Payroll Administrator to work a 100% remote. To be considered for this role you must have at least 4+ years’ experience with Payroll Processing and must have 1 year of workday configuration experience. The Payroll Administrator must have in depth knowledge of payroll wage and hour laws, federal, and provincial tax laws as well as familiarity with all types of pre and post-tax benefits, RRSP, and leave of absences rules and regulations.

Our client is a leading insurance company and within this role, you will be utilizing your technical and strategic skills whilst focusing on the end-user to identify problems and risks and contribute to forward thinking solutions. Our ideal candidate will have experience within a large global organization, possess technical acumen and logic as well as have solid consulting experience in human resources. This is a 8 months contract position and has a pay rate of $27.67 per hour.

The Payroll Administrator Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform duties as a technical/functional for Payroll Processing
  • Process payments and prepare file loads for payroll input
  • Provide support in creating and maintaining customized reports and dashboards
  • Support a minimum of 1000 employees in payroll providers like ADP, Peoplesoft, Ultipro
  • Demonstrate ability to implement solutions, prioritize work and deliver successfully under multiple deadlines
  • The Payroll Administrator Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum requirements is an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of workday configuration experience
  • CPA or APA certification or in progress
  • Experience with ADP Global view as a processing services client
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Sum if, nested formulas, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to follow complex oral & written direction and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
