Adecco is currently seeking a meticulous Payroll Benefits Coordinator for a 8-12-month Contract role in Peterborough, ON. With a salary ranging from $25-$32 per hour, you'll lead/assist in the Payroll Transition Project while administering payroll, maintaining HRIS systems, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. Responsibilities:

Lead/Assist the Payroll Transition Project from ADP Pay@Work to ADP Workforce Now.
Administer hourly and salaried payroll, HRIS systems, and employee benefit programs.
Develop and maintain payroll spreadsheets, databases, and tracking reports.
Collaborate with Finance for regulatory and operational requirements.
Set up banking information for new suppliers and administer Company Pension Plan.
Balance and reconcile payroll accounts, prepare T4 slips, and follow proper payroll procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll and HR-related tasks.

Requirements:

Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Experience in ADP Workforce Now is essential.
Minimum 3 years' payroll administration experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
Excellent knowledge of employment and payroll legislation.
Proficiency in Excel and strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and handle confidential matters discreetly.
Proven track record of producing accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
