Adecco Canada is actively recruiting for Payroll/Human Resources Specialist in Colborne, ON. To be considered for this Payroll/Human Resources Specialist role, candidates must have excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee and payroll information, and knowledge of employment laws in Canada.
Rate of pay:  Based on Experience
Location:   Colborne, ON
Position Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll for all employees
  • Reconciliation of payroll, inputting reports
  • Perform all remittance calculations, source deductions, EHT, WSIB, RSP, FRO and garnishments
  • Administer group benefits, including enrollment, changes and terminations
  • WSIB claims, reporting, analysis of NEER charges
  • Perform all payroll related reporting including T4's, ROE's and Statistic Canada reports
  • Conduct new employee orientations
  • Maintain HR and Personnel records
  • Maintain vacation schedules, monitor leaves, vacation and time-off requests
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner, Canadian Payroll Association
  • Good organizational ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of employment laws of Canada
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee and payroll information
