Adecco is currently hiring for a Project Manager- Payroll in Toronto. The Project Manager- Payroll is reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include: Overseeing the execution of all activities related to payroll and time processes, ensuring compliance with standards and legislative requirements. To be considered for this Project Manager- Payroll role, you must have extensive payroll project management and implementation 

This is a 6-month contract and has a pay rate $47.00 /hour

Payroll Project Manager 
Responsibilities 

  • Accountable for planning, managing, leading and motivating a cross-functional team to implement payroll projects
  • Leading the project execution of global expansion initiatives (Global HR Transformation), providing insights and ensuring payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
  •  Developing and improving payroll processes to maximize efficiency & deliver quality services
  •  Managing the work of the overall payroll team, providing strategic and tactical advice, coaching and mentoring.
  •  Overseeing  the accuracy and timeliness of the organization’s payroll
  •  Leading process improvement initiatives and compliance.
  •  Managing the KPIs for change management and adoption 
  •  Acting as the intermediary between payroll and project teams
Payroll Project Manager-Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll, with 3 years as a Consultant.
  • Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) or other designation (PCP ) is strongly preferred 
  • Knowledge of the compliance, principles and practices of standard payroll functions
  • Ability to lead change management processes, liaising with multiple cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong people leadership skills including direction setting, coaching and development and managing performance
  • Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with HRIS and HRIS reporting desired
  • High level of problem-solving skills, and ability to innovate and identify new efficiencies
  • Self-motivated individual that is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • PMP certification is an asset
