Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Payroll Support Specialist to work at a well-established integrated oil and natural gas company in Calgary, AB. In this role you will assist with completing analysis and issue resolutions for payroll and time data entries while auditing data to ensure accuracy and alignment. This role requires 1-2 years’ experience working with an integrated financial and payroll system with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.   • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Responsibilities:

  • Complete analysis and issue resolution for payroll and time data
  • Auditing data to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • Interpret, summarize, and present findings for discussion
  • Support payroll team members with special projects and ad hoc requests
  • Potentially participate in system configuration testing and validation
  • Configuring and testing data analytics tool
  • Documentation of payroll and time processes
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • 1-2 years progressive experience working with an integrated financial and payroll system
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Finance and/or HR work experience preferred
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure of deadlines
  • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment
