Adecco is currently hiring casual Plant Trimmers for our client in Carleton Place, Ontario.  To qualify for this temporary position as a Plant Trimmer, you must be able work weekdays and up to 10 hour shifts, perform repetitive tasks and work in a team environment. This role would start April 23rd, and last approximately 4 days. First day starts at 7am for orientation to 4/5pm then the remaining days will be an 8am start. This role pays $15.40 per hour. Potential to be called back for future harvest’s based on performance.


Plant Trimmer Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent Reliability, Punctuality and work ethic
  • Previous experience or education in a similar or closely related field
  • Any particular passion for this industry
  • Ability to move quickly and meet production requirements
  • Sitting/standing for extended periods of time, often in close proximity of each other
  • Physical labour requiring the product to be picked up and transported
  • Must be available to work casual and on-call hours


Plant Trimmer Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or OSSD Equivalency
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must have reliable transportation as public transportation is not available


PPE - Ideally you can bring a pair clean shoes with you in order to keep the facility as clean as possible. Most of the staff wear crocs on site while there and the supervisor encourages it.


Please note the facility does have a strong smell of marijuana, this position is not recommended for anyone with allergies/sensitivities/aversions to this smell.
