Our international client has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Account Manager who will be selling their socks line. The ideal candidate will earn 55-60k per annum. The position will be working from the office, but with travel expectations. This role gives the Junior Account Manager the opportunity to travel to the United States every six weeks for sales meetings, and possibly Israel. SUMMARY OF POSITION: As the Junior Account Manager for our client's hugely successful socks business, you will partner with the Canadian Director of Sales on developing strategic business plans for both branded and private label hosiery and underwear programs. In addition, effectively managing existing businesses with key accounts and identifying growth opportunities. Strategic thinker, ability to seek out the white space and initiate new business development. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Relationships Key account forecasting Develop key relationships with accounts at all levels from Buyer to DMM/GMM Inventory management and product flow with existing accounts utilizing effective forecasting Strategic Planning Monitor weekly sales and inventory levels with key accounts Manage day to day operations of the business with key accounts Merchandising Identify market and product opportunities within each of the key brands Provide competitive analysis; identify accounts strengths and weaknesses to help identify white space Opportunities to drive sales volume and market share within key accounts QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Bachelors Degree in related field BA or Diploma Equivalent 13 years experience in hosiery and/or accessories with National chains Walmart Canada and Costco experience is a plus Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
