Adecco is hiring part-time Prep Cook for a team to work on Cirque du Soleil`s Amaluna production in Winnipeg, MB on a contract from September 2019 until October 2019. To be considered for the Prep Cook position you need to be flexible to work afternoons, evenings and weekends and have some experience as a Prep Cook. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, mixing ingredients etc. Undertake basic cooking duties and prepare dishes. The pay rate for this position is $16.60/hr.

Hours: 1 pm – 9 pm (Tuesday – Sunday)
General Responsibilities for Prep Cook
Washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, mixing ingredients etc.
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
- Stocks and maintains the levels of food at line stations
- General maintenance and cleanliness of the area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for this role:
Preferred 2 years of experience as a Prep Cook, Line Cook or Cook
- Experience working in the hot line / grill section
- Ability to handle and prepare a variety of raw and cooked foods
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible to work afternoons, evenings and weekends
