Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Pricing Analyst, to work a long-term contract at a well-established oil and gas company, in Calgary, AB. As a member of the Crude Oil/NGL Actualization Team, you will be responsible for providing pricing for various Canadian & US crude oil and NGL users, preparing extensive reports for numerous groups within the company, supplying pricing for monthly commercial transactions and providing pricing information to outside parties.

Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain and distribute daily commodity marketing pricing reports
Administer monthly prices for proprietary transactions,
Prepare and distribute various Crude Oil/NGL pricing reports and bulletins
Review pricing provisions on third-party physical crude transactions and confirm with external counterparties
Confirm stream and lease prices in the operating system to indicate invoice can be issued
Confirm stream and lease volume in the operating system to indicate invoice can be issued
Review and approve payment for transportation, equalization, broker fees, loss allowance and other charges invoiced
Work closely with Trading, Logistics & Supply, and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely settlements
Provide Analytical support to Trading, Logistics & Supply and Accounting to provide teams with timely information for decision making
Attend and contribute to financial results meetings
Gather data for Price Forecasts in addition to preparing, enhancing, and distributing Forecast Models
Manage the timely updating and accuracy of Crude Oil/NGL tariffs, both internal and external
Participate in corporate initiatives
Champion continuous improvements within processes, systems, and infrastructure
Requirements and Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
A demonstrated working experience as a Pricing Analyst (or similar role)
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is an asset
Strong oral and written communication skills are needed as well as the capacity to negotiate and influence without authority and facilitate teamwork
Analytical/critical thinking, combined with problem-solving and decision-making skills are all crucial for success in this role
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
