Adecco Professional is currently looking for Printer Operator to join our client in downtown Toronto. This is a long-term contract with potential to turn permanent for the right individual to join a well-known, global e-commerce company. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating large print machinery and equipment maintenance. To qualify for this role, you must have previous experience utilizing large scale printing press machinery and equipment. Our client offers a fun dynamic work setting, growth opportunities and more. The responsibilities for the Print Operator job opening in downtown Toronto may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining large scale, digital press machines
  • Running quality test to ensure all print products meet company standards and procedures
  • Diligently work with various equipment and material by following all safety procedures
  • Working with team to run production line effectively and efficiently
  • To qualify for the Print Operator job opening in downtown Toronto, you must obtain the following;

  • 1+ year of experience using large scale printing and cutter machinery
  • Experience using Xeikon 3030 digital press and ABG Digilase finisher and sheeter an asset
  • Proven print industry and knowledgeable in graphical prepress and prepress workflows   
  • Comfortable with standard operating procedures and ability to adhere to all safety regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb, comfortable standing for consecutive periods at a time, and flexible to work rotating 8 hour shifts between 8am- 11pm with occasional weekend shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely in various working conditions
  • Analytical mindset with ability to critically problem-solve
  • Quick learner with drive to learn
