Adecco is currently recruiting full-time Procurement Advisors, to work at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this role, you will be responsible to perform all operational activities including planning, scheduling, coordination, and procurement for our Fixed Plants SCM outage organization. Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the entire lifecycle of purchase orders and other procurement documentation
Plan operations activities to supply materials and/or services to meet the requirements of our business partners
Provide guidance and coaching on daily procurement activities and more complex project activities
Leverage knowledge and experience to address more complex procurement-related issues and situations
Collaborate with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders
Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan
Support continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the supply chain
Drive compliance with SCM policies, processes, procedures, and strategies
Requirements and Qualifications:
Post-secondary Business or Supply Chain background is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in the supply chain field is required
Experience in procurement, inventory management, and/or warehouse operations role is a must
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, Livelink, and Tableau
Knowledge of master data, supply operations process, contract administration
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills as well as strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
A positive work ethic that allows you to work well with limited supervision
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
