Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time, Procurement Analyst for our client in the oil and natural gas industry in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will support all operational requirements of materials and equipment, partnering closely with various internal stakeholders.   • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle all procurement activities related to site requirements
  • Provide consultations and recommendations to business stakeholders regarding purchasing policies, practices, procedures and objectives
  • Recommend and select the appropriate procurement method to satisfy the business requirement varying in size, value and complexity
  • Manage competitive procurement process from RFx development through evaluation, award, and close out
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships that satisfy expectations of the procurement process
  • Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and outsider suppliers
  • Source and expedite to meet business requirements
  • Negotiate orders to achieve best value
  • Support Category Management, and Materials Management Teams as required
  • Work toward reducing procurement costs, improving efficiency and monitoring compliance
  • ???????Provide input into the development of procurement documents, RFx documents, corresponding evaluation documents, and maintenance of procurement policies and related business practices
  • Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a procurement environment within the Oil & Gas Industry is a must
  • Experience in SAP, CLM, and ARIBA is required
  • Working knowledge of the competitive bid process and all associated bid types (RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, etc)
  • SCMP designation is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle, performance metrics and reporting, and SCM processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment with dynamically shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Should have a broad understanding of maintenance services and material types
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
