Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Procurement Analyst to work for our reputable client, a well-established oil and gas company in Foster Creek, Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the effectiveness and cost-effective supply of materials, resolving PR/PO issues, support planned and unplanned Turnaround and Outages, and other material purchasing duties as required. This role will be primarily involved with supporting procurement requirements within Maintenance, Operations, and other auxiliary Site Service business areas of Oil Sands operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute and manage computerized material ordering and scheduling system using master data, fulfi lling all materialrequirements (replenishment and demand). Promptly execute urgent material requests to meet business needs.
Convert and/or modify planned orders to purchase requisitions. Research, validate and update sourcing for all non-contractual material masters based on requirements. Create and transmit request for quotes (RFQ)
Accept material quotes based on business unit requirements, previous purchasing history, and relevant guidelines
Maintain RFQ’s; verifying T&C’s, INCO terms, payment terms, specifications, delivery date, price, and store RFQ documentation within centralized repository
Create manual requisitions to appropriate cost objects and forward to respective business unit to ensure financial governance
Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Services Center with respect to contract discrepancies, confirmations, PO- settlement, and GR/IR imbalances
Work collaboratively with Warehouse to ensure timely delivery for requirements, material returns, Purchase Order and/or Master data discrepancies, and management of Repairables
Ensure accuracy of master data both vendor and material and submit vendor change/create/deletions forms to governance group
Execute expediting report, following up on all material purchase orders. Contact suppliers to meet original delivery promise, or to deliver ahead of schedule
Ensure compliance to supply chain business rules, approved SCM channels, the Code of Business Conduct &Ethics, company policies, standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be legally entitled to work and reside in Canada
Post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
2+ years of experience in a procurement environment is required
Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is a plus
SCMP designation is considered an asset
Adult Learning certification is appreciated
Knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle, performance metrics and reporting, and SCM processes is required
Experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) is also required
Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
Ability to manage a high volume of work from multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, including working collaboratively with site leadership, business stakeholders, and suppliers
