Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary full time Procurement Clerk for one of our clients located in Vancouver, BC on a 3-month contract. To qualify for this Procurement Clerk role, you must have strong Supply Chain management experience.



Procurement Clerk Responsibilities:


A minimum of five (5) years of procurement related work experience or equivalent, preferably with strong Supply Chain Management experience in a complex Manufacturing environment


Perform procurement activities such as creating, administering, and facilitating purchase orders and/or contract releases according to established processes and timelines.


Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve issues as well as supporting other supply chain functions by providing information to others as required.


Retrieve, manipulate, and interpret data using intermediate skills in supply chain management systems and computer applications such as Sage 50


Support sourcing events and resolve procurement issues in a fair and transparent manner by using good knowledge of supply chain concepts and public-sector procurement law to support BC Hydro’s procurement of materials and services.

 

Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders through timely communication on the progress of their requests and issues.

Procurement Clerk Education and Skills


Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent


Intermediate MS Office skills

 

Sage 50 experience is required


Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
