Our client is a premiere and well recognized, national manufacturer with their local facility located in Mississauga. Reporting to the Manager of Procurement, this position is hands-on, using the SAP system to work onsite on purchase orders in a professional, team-oriented, business environment.  This position will be an ongoing contract, with the potential, longer term opportunity for the position to convert into a full-time employee and a direction into a continued career in supply chain management.


REQUIREMENTS – Procurement Coordinator

- 1+ years professional experience in supply chain or a procurement related role
- Post-Secondary Business or Supply Chain education background preferred
- High level communication skills both spoken and written
- Familiar with SAP would be a great asset
- Career driven, excellence-oriented personality
- Skilled in learning new computer programs
- Understands the importance of communication skills and effective interaction with business partners
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite


RESPONSIBILITIES – Procurement Coordinator

- Pulling data from SAP in the form of reports
- SAP data entry
- Issuing non-complex, purchase orders
- Closing open existing purchase orders
- Creating, changing, deleting, or submitting requests for new master data.
- Expediting open past due purchase orders
- Uploading documentation into contracts system
