Adecco is currently hiring for temporary to permanent, full-time Production Associates to work at a global supplier of Laboratory equipment, supplies and chemicals. In this role, you will be involved in all parts of the manufacturing process, producing cupels for the mining industry. Shifts: Monday to Friday | 10 AM - 6:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup and operate a machine.
Mix raw material and dump material into press hopper
Inspect, check, and document production process activities, maintaining accurate records
Prepare containers for bulk and non-bulk filling
Follow end of shift cleaning routine to ensure the press is ready for the next shift
Use and maintain equipment in good working order, and report any abnormalities in a timely fashion
Maintain working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety
Ensure safety and quality of workmanship, performing final quality control inspection and packaging finished product
Follow material handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage
Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results
May participate in shipping and receiving activities, as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be ok with working in a dusty environment
Should have standard warehouse knowledge
Basic mathematics skills are needed
Basic English skills - written and verbal are a must
Should have fundamental computer skills (typing, using a mouse, recognize icons, open, save, and delete documents)
Must be comfortable walking and standing for long period of hours and lift/carry/push or pull up to 25 pounds with or without assistance
Able to follow verbal and written instructions, and work in a team environment
Must pay close attention to details in all areas of work
Able to shift priorities easily, meeting tight deadlines
Must have responsible work habits: punctual, professional, positive attitude.
Should have a clear criminal background check
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
