 Adecco is currently hiring for temporary to permanent, full-time Production Associates to work at a global supplier of Laboratory equipment, supplies and chemicals. In this role, you will be involved in all parts of the manufacturing process, producing cupels for the mining industry.   • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 10 AM - 6:30 PM

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate a machine.
  • Mix raw material and dump material into press hopper
  • Inspect, check, and document production process activities, maintaining accurate records
  • Prepare containers for bulk and non-bulk filling
  • Follow end of shift cleaning routine to ensure the press is ready for the next shift
  • Use and maintain equipment in good working order, and report any abnormalities in a timely fashion
  • Maintain working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety
  • Ensure safety and quality of workmanship, performing final quality control inspection and packaging finished product
  • Follow material handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage
  • Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results
  • May participate in shipping and receiving activities, as necessary
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Must be ok with working in a dusty environment
  • Should have standard warehouse knowledge
  • Basic mathematics skills are needed
  • Basic English skills - written and verbal are a must
  • Should have fundamental computer skills (typing, using a mouse, recognize icons, open, save, and delete documents)
  • Must be comfortable walking and standing for long period of hours and lift/carry/push or pull up to 25 pounds with or without assistance
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions, and work in a team environment
  • Must pay close attention to details in all areas of work
  • Able to shift priorities easily, meeting tight deadlines
  • Must have responsible work habits: punctual, professional, positive attitude.
  • Should have a clear criminal background check
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
