We have partnered with a media client who is looking to hire for a Production Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON (please note this will be a work from home role to start but it will require you to work in office when the time comes). This temporary to potential permanent job opening is a fantastic opportunity to use your strong administrative, coordination and technical skills in a fast paced, dynamic and creative environment.  If you are an experienced Production Coordinator with at least 2+ years of related experience who is looking for a challenging role where you can showcase your skills and can start immediately, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! 

Some of the responsibilities of the Production Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Providing support to the art directors, project manager and designers with production related tasks; schedules, cost tracking, job specifications etc.
  • Tracking timelines for production projects and reporting to necessary parties
  • Ordering samples and supplies for production materials
  • Ensure the sample library for the studio is organized and stocked
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers on pricing including negotiation of rates as well as ensuring delivery
  • Asset management and inventory tracking, cataloguing, labelling etc
  • Ensure all prints and files are accurate/quality controlled and packaged for send out
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

    The skills and qualifications for the Production Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON include:

     

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or Communications
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ related experience from media or studio
  • MAC savvy in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; able to keep calm under pressure
  • Meticulous eye for detail and ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Exceptional communications skills; written and spoken
  • Flexible to work overtime as required
