Adecco has partnered with a busy glass manufacturer in Collingwood, ON to recruit qualified, enthusiastic Production Line Workers looking for full time, long term positions. Starting pay rate for these positions is 17/hour, with a hire on date 3 months after starting. 

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Work in various areas of production:
  2. Assembly, Final Line, Press Bend, Gravity
  3. Tasks include:
  4. Cutting/ trimming, packing off the line, running CNC machines, running print lines
  5. Always work with quality and safety in mind
  6. Meet production quotas

Requirements:

  1. Ability to complete a criminal background check
  2. Physically able to perform the work:
  3. Standing for extended periods of time
  4. Lifting windshields with assistance
  5. Must have safety shoes or boots
  6. Must wear company provided safety gear such as safety glasses, vest, gloves, cuffs and aprons
  7. Must have good attendance

Shifts:

The plant runs 24/7.  These positions require the ability to work a rotating continental shift.

  • 12 hour shifts, rotation of 2 weeks days, 2 weeks midnights
  • Day shift hours 7:30am – 7:30pm
  • Midnight shift hours 7:30pm – 7:30am
  • One week consists of 3 days of work and the other week consists of 4 days of work
  • Orientation for these positions occurs on Wednesdays, weekly. If you are interested in getting back to work, please apply today! These positions are temporary to permanent, and hiring decisions are based on performance & attendance.
