Our client is a leading player in the food and beverage industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to their customers. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role and contribute to the future of food production.


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in our food production facility. This role will ensure efficient and effective production processes, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production management, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our client’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production Management: Oversee and manage daily food production activities, ensuring timely and efficient output.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any issues.

  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Develop and maintain safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary supplies.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the production budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate various projects related to production improvements, facility upgrades, and new product introductions.


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in food production management or a related field. Previous experience in a leadership role is required.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FSMA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are advantageous.
