Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time highly organized Project Administrator to work for our client, a leader in the mining industry in Kitimat, BC. In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project management team, ensuring smooth project operations, and facilitating effective communication among team members. Ideally, you will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive attitude.

  • Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Kitimat, BC

  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 8 - 10 hours per day

Responsibilities:

  • Assists Project Team in developing and maintaining project documentation including drawings, transmittals, design error notices, design change notices, vendor submittals, comments, reviews, copies and approvals, and other project documentation.

  • Troubleshoot documentation problems and bring any issues to the attention of the relevant personnel for clarification, correction, and resolution.

  • Ensures that all documents relating to the project are correctly collated, maintained and can easily be accessed by employees and management when needed.

  • Perform any other duty related to delivery of the project that may be assigned by the Project Manager or the Designate.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • 7 to 10 years of previous document control experience in an engineering project or data management environment using an electronic document management system.

  • Advanced level in MS Outlook, MS Office including Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe Acrobat and demonstrated ability to learn other software tools. Familiarity with SAP, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) will be considered as an asset.

  • Proven communication/interpersonal skills to build relationships with the immediate and remote team members.

  • Possesses excellent communication skills both oral and written.

  • Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize.

  • Willingness to learn
