Adecco is currently seeking a Project Coordinator in Toronto, ON.  You will be responsible for fostering and capturing innovation where it is in order to execute growth. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Program manager to ensure success and outcome of meetings and engagements that flow through the innovation centre. 

Our client is a large firm operating under the IT and Networking industry. This role is an 18-month contract with a pay rate of $32.00 per hour. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Program Manager and other team members to coordinate meetings and tours
  • Schedule appropriate resources and provide logistical information to clients, partners, startup companies
  • Work with Account Teams to offer scheduling input throughout the planning process 
  • Gather product and solution expertise from the account lead to understand meeting/briefing objectives and customer's business issues. 
  • Co- creation of the agenda with the account and Innovation Centre team, sourcing appropriate presenters if required, managing the sequence of the briefing including logistics and trouble shooting last minute requests and agenda changes. 
  • Work with the account teams after receipt of meeting requests, provide updates regarding the status of the briefing and facilitate the briefing logistics from end to end 
  • Maintain the information depository where all customer visits and meeting information is recorded for metrics and data management 
  • Handle all aspects of catering management including quote compilation and order confirmation with various suppliers, collaborate with the porters, reception and WPR (Facilities) to run flawless events and meetings

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales or marketing experience in a technology field 
  • 3-5 years as a project coordinator
  • 3 years of experience managing business events such as meetings, trade shows, sales presentations, sales receptions or business functions is required. 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast paced environment 
  • Result oriented individual with high energy who wants to get the job done with integrity
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
