Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Project Coordinator to work full-time hours for our client in Mississauga, ON.
In this role, you will champion work under the guidance of the IT Technology and Architecture Program in the PMO in coordination with the team members, and the Project Control Officer is required to handle day-to-day support, Leveraging their extensive experience as a Project Control Officer.
Pay rate: $55/hour

Availability Required: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:
Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs. Help create a resource plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice in the Project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan.
Help internal partners make informed decisions about developing programs, products, and services. Work closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.
Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they’re completed according to timelines and budgets. Execute a personalized project plan for your team’s preferred mix of quality, time, and cost.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, purchase orders (PO), shop drawings, all correspondence, equipment deliveries, etc.
Development of purchase order documentation for Vendors and Subcontractors based on quotations and project requirements
During Project handover from Estimating, reviews Project specifications, drawings, equipment PO, Sub-contractors PO, schedules, budget data and all other Project related documentation.
Prepares Request for Information (RFI), generates change order and/or work orders
During the Project, regularly monitors progress billing and subcontractor billing to ensure timely cash flow. Can determine what subtractor progress billing levels should be if an invoice is not received
At Project Completion, determines that all Project invoicing has been completed
At “near” Project Completion, implements the necessary tasks to achieve project closeout, including a billing review
Support field staff and projects using technical skills and equipment as required/as skillset supports
Supports project forecasting activities and required follow-ups
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
CAPM or PMP designation
1 - 3 years of PCO or PM experience is a must
Familiarity with networking and infrastructure concepts, principles, and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must-have
Proficiency with MS Excel is a must-have
Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills with the ability to self-manage
Demonstrated ability to work independently
