Duties and Responsibilities: 

As the Project Engineer-Equipment, you will: 

·       Design and select specialized refrigeration, cooling, heating, or ventilation components essential for military and commercial applications.

·       Conduct or support calculations of equipment performance characteristics, resilience to shock and vibrations, structural strength, center of gravity, cooling and heating capacities, pressure drops, heat loads, and other client-specific requirements.

·       Collaborate with mechanical designers to create final drawings, Bill of Materials for procurement, Technical Specifications Data Sheets, P&IDs, Single line and double line diagrams, and all contract-related supporting documentation.

·       Manage configuration control on Engineering documents.

·       Develop test procedures to validate equipment efficacy, including the design of procedures adhering to Military Specifications.

·       Oversee equipment and/or prototype development and testing.

·       Be available for Startup/Air Balancing of HVAC systems or onboard inspections and audits as required. 

Requirements & Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

·       3-5 years of relevant experience.

·       Proficiency in 2D and 3D design.

·       Familiarity with AutoCAD and Inventor or SolidWorks.

·       Bilingual in English and French.

·       Must have a clean criminal record and meet security clearance requirements.

·       Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
