Project Engineer in Kingston, ON
Adecco’s client is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer with experience in constructing large industrial projects specifically within the chemical manufacturing space. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the planning, design, construction and commissioning of chemical manufacturing facilities.
Project Engineer Responsibilities Are:
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and milestones
Coordinate and lead project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and engineers
Ensure project schedules are met and progress is tracked
Conduct site visits, inspection, and testing as required
Manage project risks, issues, and changes in scope
Ensure all project activities are executed in compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and other regulatory requirements
Prepare project status reports, project close-out reports, and project review reports
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure project goals are aligned and met
Project Engineer Qualifications Are:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in project engineering for industrial projects in the chemical manufacturing space
Strong project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams
Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to chemical manufacturing projects
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel as needed
