Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Project Manager, to work a long-term contract at a well-established integrated oil and natural gas company, in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and tracking project scope, objectives, timeline, and workflow, while always identifying and securing the resources required, including skills and staff, to make sure that the project is delivered on time and within the scope and the defined budget.
Location: Calgary Downtown, AB
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders, ensuring adherence to the project timeline
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Oversee the day-to-day activities of project team direct and indirect reports to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and to the required quality assurance standards
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis through formal and informal channels
Identify, document, track and communicate project risks/issues, and assist in the resolution or mitigation
Perform effective risk management to resolve issues/conflicts that may arise within the project team
Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
Track project performance, to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Identify, report and resolve workplace or interpersonal barriers that may affect the team and its performance
Drive a high-performing team and support a team-engaged culture
Requirements and Qualifications:
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a must
A minimum of 6-12+ years of demonstrated working experience as a Project Manager
Experience within the Oil & Gas industry is an asset
Should have experience coordinating a diverse team of business and/or IT staff and contractors through the project delivery lifecycle
Must have experience and strength in managing complex business scenarios and dynamic stakeholder groups
strong organization skills, critical thinking, and outstanding communication skills are all crucial to succeed in this role
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
