Adecco is currently recruiting for a Project Manager- Deployment for a 1-year contract with our Crown Corporation Client located in Ottawa, ON. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the roll out strategy of Direct Injections/Direct to Depots and will lead a cross functional teams to collaborate in meeting key deliverable within each project activity. The candidate will also be responsible for Peak/Prime planning, and the integration meetings, including action item (Tracker).

The Project Manager- Deployment will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains detailed project plans for the Project Lead;
  • Prepares and validates take to company plans against project schedules;
  • Prepares the project work breakdown structure from project team member input;
  • Identifies task dependencies, relationships and the critical path;
  • Works with project team members to develop resource, cost and schedule estimates;
  • Monitors project activity flags key issues and provides status reports to the Project Lead;
  • Maintains key issues log and tracks progress, analyzes issues to determine the impact on project activities, costs and benefits;
  • Identifies opportunities to address schedule and cost issues;
  • Tracks all change requests and adjusts the project baseline as required;
  • Develops, maintains and tracks progress of the Key Action Items (Tracker).

The Project Manager- Deployment must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma, preferably in a related field or a combination of equivalent professional experience and training;
  • Must have PMP Certification;
  • 5+ years’ experience site coordination, site selection, site readiness and deployment;
  • Experience in ensuring number of employees for a project are selected, training process and other related tasks around working stakeholders;
  • Strong experience on conducting client management and vendor management, which includes executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, to work on different projects simultaneously and to meet tight deadlines;
  • Experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters;
  • One or more years of experience in a unionized environment an asset;
  • Experience in plant process design would be an asset.
