Project Manager, High Rise Residential Construction experience in the Calgary Market

Adecco is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee our client's residential High Rise construction projects. Our client is Canada's top developers based out of the Calgary office.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our high-rise residential construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning and design through construction and close-out. The Project Manager will work closely with the Site Superintendent, Estimator, and other members of the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for high-rise residential construction projects.
• Manage and oversee all project activities, including design, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the design team, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety requirements.
• Monitor and report project progress, identify and mitigate project risks, and address any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and RFIs.
• Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that all parties are satisfied with the work being done.
• Manage project finances, including preparing monthly progress payment applications and managing project cost reports.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards and specifications.
• Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality standards.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in high-rise residential construction, including experience as a Project Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of high-rise construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
