Project Manager, ICI Commercial Construction in Calgary, Alberta
Adecco is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee our client's commercial construction projects. Our client is Canada's top General contracting based out of the Calgary office.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from inception to completion, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Project Manager, ICI Construction Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, from inception to completion, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage and motivate a team of project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure that they are working together effectively to deliver successful projects.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
Manage and monitor financial performance, including budgets, costs, and revenue, to ensure that projects are meeting their financial targets.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our commercial construction operations.
Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of projects, financial performance, and other key metrics.
Ensure that all employees working on projects are trained and developed to the highest standards.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial construction projects. The project should be in the range of $5 Million to $50 Million range.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Strong financial management skills, with experience managing budgets, costs, and revenue.
Thorough knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
