Adecco is currently hiring for a Project Manager for our Medical Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is an opportunity offering Full Time hours, Monday – Friday. The salary for this position will be determined based on education and experience.

Project Manager - Medical Manufacturing Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for designated project assignments.
  • Defines project scope and objectives; takes project from original concept through to final implementation.
  • Provides technical and analytical analysis/guidance to support project objectives and commitments; interface with all areas involved/impacted by the project.
  • Facilitates compliance to relevant processes and policies and/or regulations (Design controls, Alpha, PMO Framework, DHF).
  • Establish and maintain effective communications to ensure all stakeholders are provided with timely status updates and accurate project information.
  • Actively elevates to Management for resolution any developing issues that compromise published timelines and deliverables.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned.
  • Project Manager - Medical Manufacturing Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated environment is an asset.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Skilled in project planning and management.
  • Knowledge of project management standards and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of financial documents specifically pertaining to management of multi-year projects.
  • Experience with design controls in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; demonstrated good judgment.
  • Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the
    development of and adherence to a schedule.
  • Ability to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or
    data involves multiple competing factors.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficient at MS-Office Suite.
