Adecco is currently hiring an experienced Project Manager to work with a large Medical Manufacturer in Ottawa. Working as part of the Program Management Office, you will provide Project Management oversight to clinical contracting and study execution to ensure the completion of clinical deliverables according to sponsor and contact requirements. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years working in a Project Manager role and you must have successfully completed a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Physical Sciences. .

The compensation for this role will be determined by both experience and education level. This contract is for 1 year with the possibility of extension.

Requirements for Project Manager Role:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in project, technical, or clinical environment, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Basic skills in project planning and management, judgement, decision-making, and problem solving.
  • Strong influencing skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to translate complex information to multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to be creative in achieving objectives while assuring compliance to internal and external requirements.
  • Working knowledge of new product development would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in contract management or management of clinical studies would be considered an asset.
  • Responsibilities for Project Manager Role:

  • Supporting the Program Manager in meeting product development requirements, fulfilling product definition, meeting product and program cost goals, quality objectives and time to market objectives.
  • Ensuring a positive work environment and awareness by all team members of project goals and contract deliverables.
  • Managing strong healthy relationships with stakeholders, project team and external vendors ensuring that project delivery expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Monitoring clinical study contracting and execution progress and actively elevating to Program Manager for resolution, any developing issues that compromise the published timelines and deliverables.
  • Complying with established good clinical practice (CGP) and design control policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of details project plans.
