Our client is looking for a Project Manager for their CRM implimentation called SRM2 for Edmonton, AB location. The Project Manager will oversee and enforce all process guidelines, timelines, communication, tracking and reporting, as well as managing change/change control activities. The Project Manager is responsible for reporting to the sponsor and steering committee and communication, managing the Project Sharepoint sites and ensuring adherence to a defined statement of work. Most importantly the Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Project, with a focus of delivering on time within budget and scope.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities:

Status reporting weekly internal to IT; monthly to Steering Committee;
Regular upkeep of Project Change Management, Roles & Responsibilities documentation, Scope and Decision logs , Costs, Lessons Learned log, Issues/Risks Log, and other PM artifacts as required;
Upkeep of the Work Breakdown Structure worksheet;
Upkeep on Project tasks/schedule in cooperation with the vendor(s);
Creation and management of the Project Plan in cooperation with the vendor(s).

Project Manager Job Requirements:

A minimum of five (5) years recent experience (past 10 years) as formal project manager in an IT environment.
Recent experience managing software development projects to a successful conclusion
Experience leading projects in mid-level organizations, i.e. between 1000 and 2000 employees.
Recent experience leading projects in post-secondary institutions or related organizations.
IT Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Strong familiarity with MS Project, Sharepoint and CRM solutions.
Organizational change management experience and qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to take a practical approach to dealing with shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
