Adecco is currently hiring for a Property Administrator in North York, ON to service one of the largest insurance and financial services companies globally. This is a full-time 1 year contract position and has a pay rate of $18.67/hour.
Property Administrator Responsibilities:
Responsible to apply monthly rental cheques and additional payments to tenant accounts
Primary liaison with tenants in regards rental issues, including rent collection and expense recovery issues
Assist in the annual budgeting process
Monitor building services budget, maintaining budget records, set-up and issue purchase orders, and approve invoices in consultation with the Property Manager
Responsible for recurring procedures associated with Tenant move-ins, including preparation and presentation of welcoming letters, Tenant Handbook and Building Rules and Regulations. Also, ordering of directory, suite and building signage
Administer Realty Tax Appeals and Vacancy Application Forms
Draft and prepare various letters and memo correspondence for Property Manager
Liaison with tenants in resolving building services issues to a satisfactory resolution. Follow-up with staff as necessary to alert them to the outcome of their building services issues / requests. Make recommendations to Property Manager on improving facilities operations and report on efficiency of building systems and contractor
Develop professional working relationships with Leasing, Contractors and the Branch Office
Initiate and coordinate Tenant Appreciation Events and promotional events / fund raisers etc.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Property Administrator Qualifications:
University Degree or College Diploma in an accounting or business related field of study
Must have previous administrative experience
Previous experience in commercial real state and accounting environment
Working knowledge of accounting concepts including accounts receivable, general accounting, bank reconciliations, and budgets.
Excellent communication including strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail.
