Adecco is currently hiring an experienced QA Lab Operator to work a long-term contract at our Ottawa client’s medical manufacturing facility. To qualify for this role, you must have 1-year relevant experience working in a lab setting and you must have successfully completed some relevant post-secondary education (Lab Technician Diploma).

This is an overnight position, and candidates would be working Sun, Mon and Tues overnights from 7pm to 6:30am.

General Accountability for QA Lab Operator Role:

- Perform product testing to support standard component quality control testing.
-Utilize human blood to perform cartridge testing in a quality lab environment to support finished goods testing of all product types
-Must be able to effectively work in a very high paced environment perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to use in-house data analysis software applications to generate production test reports.

Responsibilities for QA Lab Operator Role:

-Assist in identifying anomalies with cartridge run a reference data
-Sets up and operates test equipment with minimal supervision
-Helps resolve problems presented by lower level operators
-Follows all applicable employment, health and safety legislation, company policies and procedures

Requirements for QA Lab Operator Role:

-Relevant post-secondary diploma (Lab Technician, etc.)
-1-2 years relevant experience
