QA Lab Operator

Adecco is currently hiring QA Lab Operator for our Medical Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is a 1-year contract opportunity for a 12 hour night shift. Hourly rate of pay will be determined based on level of experience.

As a member of QA team, you will contribute to the team’s success by supporting manufacturing operations, to ensure optimal mechanical performance of the high-speed automated assembly lines and production yields.

Requirements for QA Lab Operator:

  • Role High School Diploma Knowledge of Quality requirements within a regulated, cGMP environment.
  • 1+ years in Clinical research or Quality Assurance.
  • Excellent attention to detail Able to work in a fast paced, repetitive environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills an effective team player Strong computer skill including MS Excel and Word Clean criminal record Flexibility to work 12hour shifts
  • Must be comfortable working with blood Responsibilities for QA Lab Operator Role Start in barcoding and once proficiency is demonstrated, may be required to work in test lab as workload requires: As required, may perform Prebuild testing of Core, Immune and Cog product categories depending on level of testing proficiency.
  • Prebuild testing of Coag products requires a minimum of 1 year of experience. May perform Finished Goods testing of Core products.
  • Responsible for Gen 1 barcoding: Loading cartridge portion packs on Barcode and operating the equipment to apply barcode labels to cartridge portion packs Conduct continuous visual inspection of barcoding process and identify any defects or problems (e.g. missing desiccant etc.)
  • Take appropriate corrective action if defects identified. Seek advice on appropriate solution and advise Operational Team Leader.
  • Use data analysis software applications to generate production test reports.
  • Complete lot traveler documentation Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.
