Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Quality Assurance Inspector, to work at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this role, you will provide support for fixed equipment strategy development. The ideal candidate will have a previous In-Service Inspection experience on pressure equipment or welding inspection.   • Collect, organize, analyze and store historical inspection data
  • Field verify nameplate and condition to historical records
  • Select appropriate inspection techniques based on the conditions and risk
  • Develop work scope based on risk drivers using the Global Inspection Practice guidance documents
  • Issue repair recommendations with the area inspector based on findings during field verification
  • Attend multi-discipline review meetings to endorse asset risks and mitigations Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Materials), or Journeyman trade ticket in either Piping Fitting or Welding
  • Minimum five years of Inspection experience is required
  • Previous In-Service Inspection experience on pressure equipment or welding inspection
  • Previous experience in Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programs and methodology is an asset
  • ABSA In-Service Inspector certification and API 510/570 certifications are a must
  • API 653 is an asset
  • CGSB certifications in either MT/PT/UT are an asset
  • Familiarity with SAP is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required
  • Experience and competency in planning, organizing, problem-solving, and decision making is a must
